It is our sincere desire that conservationists in Utah can develop one unified proposal for Wilderness on Forest Service lands in Utah.

The Utah Environmental Congress (UEC) Citizen's Wilderness proposal is comprehensive, covering all six Forests in the state, and its boundaries are designated to address manageability/availability issues as well as taking wildlife protection needs into consideration.
The UEC Citizen's proposal was developed with open public input, totals 155 new Wilderness areas on 3,365,665 acres across six National Forests and includes lands on the Wasatch-Cache, Uinta and Ashley National Forests.
